About Buckeye Cycling
Created as a summer training and racing outlet for the OSU cycling team in their offseason, Buckeye Cycling has evolved into a year-round USCF licensed racing club. Our goal is to draw more attention to the healthy lifestyle of the sport cycling and more specifically bicycle racing in Central Ohio. We want to dismantle the notion that bike racers are elitist and put the fun back into bicycle racing. Camaraderie among team members and sportsmanship is crucial for Buckeye Cycling and racing should be first and foremost fun and exciting.
Training and racing primarily in Central Ohio, the team races in events throughout the state as well as other events in the Midwest United States. The team participates in events in Upper Arlington, Dublin, Grandview Heights, Westerville, Grove City, Granville, Marysville, Lancaster, and a dozen other cities and towns around Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Buckeye Cycling supports community advocacy programs and charities through participation and support of those events such as Garrett Wonders Memorial Criterium, Pedal-With-Pete, and the Tour For The Cure.
